SMASHED – SFs runs on a live cloud server, and staff plans cover that hosting and upkeep. Pick the plan for your role. Prices are quoted per month, and every payment covers a fixed 6-month subscription. Parents, guardians and non-officer non-teaching personnel never pay.
Every role below, including the paid plans, is free to use for the entire school year. The monthly rates start only after School Year 2026–2027 ends, and your first 6-month payment is due when you subscribe after that.

Register →Everything is free through School Year 2026–2027. Afterward, paid plans are priced per month, but every subscription payment is fixed at six months. The amount shown under each price is the total for one 6-month payment (the monthly price × 6). To keep using a paid plan, you renew with another 6-month payment.
Non-Teaching accounts come in two access levels. An Officer (a registrar, principal, or designated staff member) gets the school-wide access described above and pays the Officer rate. A Non-Officer account is limited to that staff member's own Daily Time Record and is free.
The original SMASHED – SFs was a free Excel file that ran on your own computer. The Online Edition runs on a live cloud server, with the hosting and maintenance costs that come with keeping it fast and available to every school using it. Fees are kept as low as possible: a Subject Teacher pays about half of what a Class Adviser pays, reflecting the smaller scope of access. The Parent / Guardian Portal stays free, always.
