Written in plain language, this Agreement covers what you're agreeing to by creating and using a SMASHED – SFs account. By checking the confirmation box on the registration page, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

This User's Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and Victorino P. Pinawin, the developer and operator of SMASHED – SFs ("the System," "we," "us"), of Gumaca National High School, Brgy. Mabini, Gumaca, Quezon 4307. You confirm your agreement to this Agreement and to our Privacy Policy (incorporated into this Agreement by reference) by checking the confirmation box on the registration page when you create an account; continuing to use the System after that point is agreement to any later updates to these terms as described in Section 12. If you're registering on behalf of a school or as an employee of one, you confirm you're authorized to agree to these terms for that purpose.
If you're a student registering for the Learner Portal and you are a minor, a parent or guardian should review this Agreement with you before you register.
SMASHED – SFs is an independently developed system that helps teachers, registrars, and school heads record grades and attendance and generate school forms (SF9, SF10, SF2, and related reports) in the format DepEd already requires. It has been introduced to and used by schools within the DepEd Division of Quezon, but it is not an official DepEd information system, and DepEd does not operate, warrant, or take responsibility for it. It is a tool that assists school staff in preparing these documents — it does not replace your school's own record-keeping obligations or DepEd's own official systems.
The System has four kinds of accounts:
Teacher and staff accounts are self-registered but should only be created by someone actually employed in that role at a real DepEd school. Student accounts require approval from their adviser or registrar before they become active. You may not create an account impersonating another person, or maintain more than one account for yourself.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you register with, and for keeping your password confidential. Don't share your login with anyone else, including other staff at your school — each person who needs access should have their own account, so actions can be tracked back to the person who took them. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Student/Learner Portal accounts are free. Staff accounts (Class Adviser, Subject Teacher, Non-Teaching) carry a per-term fee at the rate shown on the Pricing page at the time you register, which may change from one term to the next with notice posted on that page. Payment is currently arranged directly with us through the channel we provide at registration, not automatically processed within the System — keep your proof of payment. An account with fees unpaid for the current term may be limited or suspended until payment is received; we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you first. Fees already paid for a term are non-refundable except where we've made an error or the System was unavailable to you for a significant part of that term through our fault.

The System processes learner personal information — including that of minors — as described in our Privacy Policy. As between you (or your school) and us: your school remains the party responsible for deciding what learner data is collected and why (the "Personal Information Controller" under the Data Privacy Act), and we process it on your school's behalf to run the System. You're responsible for having any consent or notice your school needs from learners or their guardians to have that data entered into a system like this one, consistent with RA 10173 and DepEd's own data privacy guidance.
SF9, SF10, SF2, and every other report the System generates are built directly from the grades, attendance, and student information that you and your colleagues enter. We don't independently verify that data. Before printing, certifying, or officially submitting any document generated by the System, it's your responsibility — and your school's — to check it for accuracy. The System is an aid to preparing these documents, not a substitute for the judgment and certification responsibilities of the school official signing them.
SMASHED – SFs is operated independently, not by a large hosting company, and is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, though we'll make reasonable efforts to keep it running and to fix problems promptly. Features may be added, changed, or removed as the System develops.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the System — including lost data, lost time, or issues with a school form prepared using it — except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. Nothing in this section limits any right you have under the Data Privacy Act that can't be waived by agreement.
You can stop using the System and ask us to delete your account at any time by contacting us. We can suspend or terminate an account for violating this Agreement, non-payment of fees, or at a school's request regarding one of its own staff or student accounts. Your school's registrar or principal can also directly manage or remove accounts and records for your school through their own account tools.
We may update this Agreement as the System changes. We'll post the updated version here with a new effective date; continuing to use the System after an update means you accept the revised terms. For material changes, we'll try to give notice before they take effect.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, including the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). Any dispute arising from this Agreement will be resolved in the appropriate courts of the Province of Quezon, without prejudice to any other venue required by law.
